MENTORING
Some students will better prepare for the bar examination if they have the benefit of a mentor who will monitor and guide their progress in preparation and provide the discipline necessary to stay on a schedule.
This is particularly true for students who have failed the bar examination previously.
I am able to act as a mentor for a limited number of students and will give preference to those who have taken the bar previously and who are taking the complete Massachusetts and Multistate Courses.
The first step in the mentoring process is a meeting with the candidate to analyze previous scores and review answers to previous essays.
The second step at that meeting is to set up a study schedule.
The third step is to monitor that schedule through daily e-mails with reports from the candidate about subjects completed and grades on multistate tests.
As the preparation proceeds, the candidate and the mentor will modify the study schedule depending on results on previous tests.
The fee for the monitoring service is $325 in addition to the $675 for the materials.
The number of students I can effectively monitor is limited and this program will close when the limit is reached.
